Located on High Street in downtown Morgantown, the Warner Theatre has been providing quality entertainment for Morgantown residents since June 12, 1931.

Built by the Warner Brothers, H. M., Major Albert, and J.L., at a cost of $400,000, the theatre was constructed with the interests of the guest in mind.
A state of the art ventilating system was installed in the theatre in order to make certain the patrons were comfortable and that the ambient temperature remained approximately 69 degrees at all times.
 

 

In order to provide the best possible acoustic quality, a special type of absorptive plaster with thousands of tiny holes was applied throughout the theatre. Newly invented effect machines were also installed so as to ensure that sound effects were as realistic as possible.

The interior of the theatre was decorated exquisitely through grand architectural structures and brilliant colors. On the outside, a 50-foot vertical sign illuminated with over 6,000 bulbs of different colors stood tall above the marquee as an invitation to patrons.
 
 

The Warner Theatre is a historically significant structure in downtown Morgantown that should be preserved and enjoyed by the public.

For this reason, Round Table Corporation purchased the theatre in 2004 with the intention of restoring it to its original condition.
We plan to restore also the emphasis that was once placed on the guest and ensure that a trip to the Warner Theatre remains a timeless experience.
